FeminAfrika, a grassroots women’s music ensemble, had the talent and heart—but lacked the visual presence needed to take their message further. Without cohesive branding or professional promotional tools, the group struggled to attract new performance opportunities or share their artistry effectively. Proud Empowerment partnered with the ensemble to bring their identity to life across print and digital platforms—transforming how they presented themselves to the world.
While the ensemble had passion, talent, and a growing reputation, several key elements were missing:
No cohesive brand identity to unify their presence
Lack of basic promotional assets such as brochures or business cards
No centralized platform to share performances or attract bookings
Limited access to design or marketing tools that reflected their unique story and aesthetic
Proud Empowerment worked closely with FeminAfrika’s members to co-create a brand identity that honored their heritage and artistic power.
1. A Logo That Told a Story
Inspired by an acrylic painting from one of the performers, the final design featured bold African colors and a Djembe drum as a centerpiece.
The logo embodied both their cultural roots and contemporary voice—serving as a visual anchor for all future branding.
2. Print Materials That Open Doors
Designed brochures, business cards, and event flyers that mirrored the ensemble’s vibrant spirit and values.
Provided high-resolution, print-ready files for flexible, professional presentation at gigs, showcases, and festivals.
3. Digital Launch With Purpose
Launched their official Instagram page to give them a dynamic social presence.
Set up Google Drive and YouTube accounts, offering digital homes for performance videos, event media, and press materials.
Focused on tools they could easily update and maintain themselves, empowering long-term use.
The visual transformation led to real-world results:
A Powerful, Authentic Brand Identity
FeminAfrika now has a unified, professional look that matches the depth and energy of their music.
New Bookings and Visibility
With polished print materials and a clear online presence, they began securing more performance opportunities.
Digital Tools That Empower
The YouTube and Instagram accounts offered new ways to share content, build community, and grow their audience.
Ongoing Partnership for Growth
FeminAfrika continues to receive support from Proud Empowerment as they evolve artistically and organizationally.
“Mandi has been a fantastic partner for us at FeminAfrika, providing invaluable support with our graphic design needs. From our logo to flyers and business cards, her work has always been top-notch. Their passion for social justice and commitment to elevating marginalized voices is truly inspiring.”
